Tobacco (Control of Advertisements and Sale) (Appearance, Packaging and Labelling) (Amendment) Regulations 2026 is Singapore Subsidiary Legislation, cited as Subsidiary Legislation S241 2026, currently marked in force and first recorded in 2026.
Citation and commencement
These Regulations are the Tobacco (Control of Advertisements and Sale) (Appearance, Packaging and Labelling) (Amendment) Regulations 2026 and come into operation on 1 May 2026.
Amendment of regulation 1
In the Tobacco (Control of Advertisements and Sale) (Appearance, Packaging and Labelling) Regulations 2019 (G.N. No. S 480/2019) (called in these Regulations the principal Regulations), in regulation 1, replace “Tobacco (Control of Advertisements and Sale)” with “Tobacco and Vaporisers Control”.
Amendment of regulation 28
In the principal Regulations, in regulation 28(1) —
in sub-paragraph (a), delete “or” at the end; and
replace sub-paragraph (b) with —“(b)sold or given in Singapore, or transported, sent, delivered or distributed within Singapore;
offered to be sold or given in Singapore, or transported, sent, delivered or distributed within Singapore; or
in a person’s possession in Singapore for the purpose of sale or gift in Singapore, or transport, sending, delivery or distribution within Singapore,”.
Amendment of regulation 29
In the principal Regulations, in regulation 29(1) —
in sub-paragraph (a), delete “or” at the end; and
replace sub-paragraph (b) with —“(b)sold or given in Singapore, or transported, sent, delivered or distributed within Singapore;
offered to be sold or given in Singapore, or transported, sent, delivered or distributed within Singapore; or
in a person’s possession in Singapore for the purpose of sale or gift in Singapore, or transport, sending, delivery or distribution within Singapore,”.
Amendment of regulation 30
In the principal Regulations, in regulation 30(1) —
in sub-paragraph (a), delete “or” at the end; and
replace sub-paragraph (b) with —“(b)sold or given in Singapore, or transported, sent, delivered or distributed within Singapore;
offered to be sold or given in Singapore, or transported, sent, delivered or distributed within Singapore; or
in a person’s possession in Singapore for the purpose of sale or gift in Singapore, or transport, sending, delivery or distribution within Singapore,”.
