Citation and commencement
These Regulations are the Travel Agents (Amendment) Regulations 2026 and come into operation on 27 April 2026.

Citation and commencement
These Regulations are the Travel Agents (Amendment) Regulations 2026 and come into operation on 27 April 2026.
Amendment of regulation 10
In the Travel Agents Regulations 2017 (called in these Regulations the principal Regulations), in regulation 10(1), replace “obtain the Board’s prior written approval” with “inform the Board at least 7 days”.
Replacement of regulation 13
In the principal Regulations, replace regulation 13 with —“Change in financial year13.—
A licensee who changes the licensee’s financial year must inform the Board of the change —
where the approval of a public authority is required under any written law for the change — within 14 days after the date the licensee obtains the approval; or
in any other case — within 14 days after the date the licensee’s governing body passes the resolution, or otherwise makes a decision, approving or making the change.
In paragraph (1)(b), “governing body”, in relation to a licensee, includes the licensee’s board of directors or the partners of the licensee.”.
Amendment of Schedule
In the principal Regulations, in the Schedule, in item 3, in the first column, after “licence”, insert “for the purposes of regulation 6”.
