Regulation 5

Muslim religious schools must be registered

Subregulation 1

A person must not conduct a Muslim religious school unless it is registered by the Majlis.

Subregulation 2

A person who contravenes paragraph (1) shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $2,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 12 months or to both.
