Fee payable under section 86 (3) (c) of Act
Subregulation 1
Where an employer of an Auxiliary Police Force is required by the Commissioner under section 86(3)(c) of the Act to pay an annual fee for any financial year or part thereof (as may be specified by the Commissioner), the fee shall be an amount equal to $0.10 multiplied by the total number of man-hours during which auxiliary police officers from the Auxiliary Police Force are deployed in that financial year or part thereof to carry out the purposes specified in section 86 (1)(b) to (e) of the Act.
Subregulation 2
The fee payable for any financial year or part thereof shall be paid to the Commissioner within one month after the end of that financial year.
Subregulation 3
Payment of the fee shall be made —
through such electronic funds transfer system as the Commissioner may designate from time to time, whereby payment may be effected by directing the transfer of funds electronically from the bank account of the payer to a bank account designated by the Commissioner; or (b)in such other form or manner as the Commissioner may specify.
Subregulation 4
In this regulation, “financial year” means the period from 1st April of a year to 31st March of the succeeding year.
