Register of licensees
of Building and Construction Authority Act 1999
(1)
The Authority must keep a register of licensees containing —
the names of all persons licensed under this Part;
the date the licence is granted to the person and the date of its expiry; and
such other particulars in relation thereto as may from time to time be prescribed.
(2)
A person may, on payment of the prescribed fee, if any —
inspect the register of licensees during the ordinary business hours of the Authority; or
obtain from the Authority a certificate as to whether a named person was a licensee on a specified date or during a specified period.
(3)
A certificate purporting to be signed by the Authority certifying that a person was or was not licensed under this Part on a specified date or during a specified period is admissible in any proceedings as evidence of the matters stated in the certificate.[31S
