24J. Voluntary discontinuation as approved test service provider

(1)

An approved test service provider may, in writing to the Authority, request to discontinue as an approved test service provider.

(2)

The Authority may refuse to allow the request under paragraph (1) if ––

(a)

any action commenced by the Authority under regulation 24K, or any investigation which may result in such action, against the approved test service provider is pending; or (b)any investigation by the Authority in respect of any gaming equipment tested by the approved test service provider is pending.

Subregulation 1

An approved test service provider may, in writing to the Authority, request to discontinue as an approved test service provider.

Subregulation 2

The Authority may refuse to allow the request under paragraph (1) if ––

(a)

any action commenced by the Authority under regulation 24K, or any investigation which may result in such action, against the approved test service provider is pending; or (b)any investigation by the Authority in respect of any gaming equipment tested by the approved test service provider is pending.
