Regulation 1

Citation and commencement

These Regulations are the Central Provident Fund (Topping‑Up of Special Account) (Amendment) Regulations 2026 and, except for regulation 3, come into operation on 1 April 2026.

Regulation 3 is deemed to have come into operation on 17 December 2025.

Subregulation 1

These Regulations are the Central Provident Fund (Topping‑Up of Special Account) (Amendment) Regulations 2026 and, except for regulation 3, come into operation on 1 April 2026.

Subregulation 2

Regulation 3 is deemed to have come into operation on 17 December 2025.

Regulation 2

Amendment of regulation 3

In the Central Provident Fund (Topping-Up of Special Account) Regulations 2007, in regulation 3 —

(a)

in paragraph (1), in the definition of “applicable property charge”, in paragraph (a), after “21B(1),”, insert “21C(1)(d),”;

(b)

in paragraph (1), in the definition of “applicable property charge” (as amended by regulation 3), in paragraph (b), replace “section 27D(1)(j)(i)” with “section 21C(2), 21D(1) or 27D(1)(j)(i)”;

(c)

in paragraph (3)(c)(ii), after “from the member’s retirement account”, insert “for any of the purposes”; and

(d)

in paragraph (8)(d)(i), after “from the applicable member’s retirement account”, insert “for any of the purposes”.

Regulation 3

Miscellaneous amendments

In the Central Provident Fund (Topping-Up of Special Account) Regulations 2007, in regulation 3(1), in the definition of “applicable property charge” —

(a)

in paragraph (a), replace “27C(1)(v), 27D(1)(v)(B), 27DA(1)(v)” with “27C(1)(i), 27D(1)(j)(ii), 27DA(1)(i)”;

(b)

in paragraph (a), replace “27E(1)(iv) or 27F(1)(iv)” with “27E(1)(h) or 27F(1)(h)”; and

(c)

in paragraph (b), replace “27D(1)(v)(A)” with “27D(1)(j)(i)”.
