Regulation 48
Subregulation 1
No person shall smoke or take with him a lighted cigarette, cigar or pipe in any part of the airside except in an area designated by the airport licensee as a smoking area.
Subregulation 2
An authorised person may, in respect of any person who is reasonably suspected of having committed or attempting to commit a contravention of paragraph (1) —
(a)
require the person to immediately extinguish the lighted cigarette, cigar or pipe; and
(b)
where the person fails to extinguish the lighted cigarette, cigar or pipe, require him to leave the area.
