Definitions
In these Regulations, unless the context otherwise requires —“application for interim relief” means an application made under regulation 34;“Board” means the Competition Appeal Board established under section 72(1) of the Act, and includes a committee of the Board constituted under section 72(10) of the Act for the purpose of hearing an appeal made under section 71(1) of the Act;“Board’s address for service” means the address for service of documents on the Board referred to in regulation 4;“Board’s website” means the Internet website of the Board referred to in regulation 5;“Chairman” means the Chairman of the Board appointed under section 72(5) of the Act;“Presiding Board Member” means the Chairman or a member of the Board presiding at a meeting of the Board or the hearing of an appeal;“register” means the register of orders and decisions of the Board established and maintained by the Secretary pursuant to regulation 3(d);“register of practitioners” means the annual register kept under section 27 of the Legal Profession Act (Cap. 161);“Secretary” means the secretary to the Board appointed by the Minister under section 72(7) of the Act;“working day” means any day except a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday.
