124. Nature of copyright in films
Feedback & supportFor the purposes of this Act, unless the contrary intention appears, copyright in a film is the exclusive right to do all or any of the following acts:
to make a copy of the film;
copy
“copy” has the meanings given by the provisions in Subdivision (2) of Division 3 of Part 2;
to cause the visual images of the film to be seen in public;
visual images
“visual images”, in relation to a film, has the meaning given by section 24(2)(a);
to cause any sounds of the film to be heard in public;
sounds
“sounds”, in relation to a film, has the meaning given by section 24(2)(b);
to communicate the film to the public.

“communicate” and “communication” have the meanings given by section 61;
