Regulation 32
Direction to mediate
Subregulation 1
IPOS may give a direction to a CMO to mediate a dispute between the CMO and a member, user or intending user.
Subregulation 2
A direction may only be made after the CMO has given its decision on the dispute, and any internal recourse against the decision has been exhausted, in accordance with the CMO’s dispute resolution policy.
Subregulation 3
The CMO must comply with the direction unless the other party to the dispute refuses or fails to take part in the mediation.
