238. Power to commute punishment
Feedback & supportThe President, acting in accordance with section 8 of the Republic of Singapore Independence Act may, without the consent of the person sentenced, commute any one of the following sentences for any other mentioned after it:
(a)
death;
(b)
imprisonment;
(c)
