Security for keeping the peace in other cases
Whenever it appears to a Magistrate’s Court that any person residing or being within Singapore is likely to commit a breach of the peace or to do any wrongful act that may probably occasion a breach of the peace, the Magistrate’s Court may, in the manner hereinafter provided, require that person to show cause why he should not be ordered to execute a bond with or without sureties for keeping the peace for such period not exceeding 6 months as the Court thinks fit to fix.[72
