14. Demand for information
Feedback & supportIf, in the opinion of the Commissioner or a Medical Officer of Health, there is reasonable ground for suspecting that any person is in possession of information relating to the propagation of disease-bearing insects or of the occurrence of disease due to disease-bearing insects, the Commissioner or the Medical Officer of Health may require that the information be produced to him.
Commissioner
“Commissioner”, “Deputy Commissioner of Public Health” and “Assistant Commissioner of Public Health” mean respectively the Commissioner of Public Health, a Deputy Commissioner of Public Health and an Assistant Commissioner of Public Health appointed under section 4(1) of the Environmental Public Health Act;
Any person who refuses, fails or neglects to comply with any requisition made in pursuance of subsection (1) shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $1,000.
