Regulation 12
Attending to machinery
Subregulation 1
No child or young person shall be employed in any service involving management of, or attendance on machinery in motion without the written approval of the Commissioner.
Subregulation 2
The Commissioner shall not grant his approval unless he is satisfied that the child or young person is employed under a scheme of training approved by the Ministry of Education or the Institute of Technical Education, Singapore.
Subregulation 3
Any approval granted by the Commissioner may be subject to such conditions as he sees fit to impose.
