Where a child or young person is attending school, the period of work put in by the child or young person and the period of school attendance shall not in the aggregate exceed 6 hours or 7 hours, respectively, in any one day except where the child or young person is employed upon work carried on in any Government or other technical school, or under any approved apprenticeship scheme.
