Regulation 24

Appeals from decision, direction or order of Registrar

Subregulation 1

An appeal lies to a tribunal from any decision, direction or order of the Registrar.

Subregulation 2

The appeal must be brought by filing, and serving on every other party to the proceedings in which the decision, direction or order was given or made, a notice in the relevant Form to attend before the tribunal on a day specified in the notice.

Subregulation 3

The applicant must, at the time the notice is filed, pay the fee specified in item 8 of the Schedule.

Subregulation 4

Unless a tribunal or the Registrar otherwise orders, the notice must be —

(a)

filed within 7 days after the decision, direction or order appealed against was given or made; and

(b)

served on all other parties within 7 days after the notice is filed.

Subregulation 5

Unless a tribunal or the Registrar directs otherwise, an appeal under this rule does not operate as a stay of the proceedings in which the appeal is brought.
