50. Obstructing officers of Board

A person must not obstruct or hinder a member or an officer or agent of the Board, or an inspector, who is exercising any power or discharging any duty under this Act.

“officer”, in relation to the Board, means an employee of the Board and includes an individual under a secondment arrangement which makes available the service of the individual to the Board;
(2)
Any person who, without reasonable excuse, contravenes subsection (1) shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $5,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 6 months or to both.
