46B. Purpose of this Part

(1)
The purpose of this Part is to establish a regulatory framework to prevent, reduce or control the spread of any infectious disease in or from, and to reduce or remove the risk of any conditions injurious or dangerous to public health being created in, any completed buildings and controlled facilities.
(2)
This Part does not limit the operation of any other written law relating to the regulation of controlled works.
