In the Hazardous Waste (Control of Export, Import and Transit) Regulations 1998 (called in these Regulations the principal Regulations), after regulation 10, insert —“Validity period of permits10A. Every Basel permit and special permit is, unless revoked under regulation 18 or surrendered under regulation 19, valid for a period of one year starting on the date the permit is granted.”.
