Regulation 4

Despite regulation 2, where, before 1 August 2026, a person applies under regulation 3, 4 or 5 of the principal Regulations for a Basel permit or special permit that is to be valid for 3 months, the permit so granted on or after 1 August 2026 is, unless revoked under regulation 18 of the principal Regulations or surrendered under regulation 19 of the principal Regulations, valid for a period of 3 months starting on the date the permit is granted.
