Variation of punishment
Subregulation 1
Where the officer-in-charge of an approved centre has found an inmate thereof guilty of an offence, he shall notify the Director of Prisons or the person appointed under section 18A(1)(b) of the Act of the facts of the case not later than 7 days after the inmate has been found guilty of the offence.
Subregulation 2
The Director of Prisons or the person appointed under section 18A(1)(b) of the Act may amend, alter or vary any punishment imposed by the officer-in-charge of an approved centre under these Regulations.
