Saving and transitional provisions
of Land Titles (Strata) (Amendment) Bill
(1)
Part 5A of the principal Act, as amended by sections 2 to 8, applies to an application for an order for collective sale in relation to a collective sale agreement if —
the terms and conditions of the collective sale agreement are approved in accordance with the Second Schedule to the principal Act on or after the date of commencement of those sections; or
the terms and conditions of the collective sale agreement were approved in accordance with the Second Schedule to the principal Act before that date, unless subsection (2) applies.

Part 5A of the principal Act as in force immediately before the date of commencement of sections 2 to 8 applies to an application for an order for collective sale in relation to a collective sale agreement if —
the terms and conditions of the collective sale agreement were approved in accordance with the Second Schedule to the principal Act before that date; and
one or more of the subsidiary proprietors or proprietors mentioned in section 84A(1), 84D(2), 84E(3) or 84FA(2) of the principal Act (as the case may be) had signed the collective sale agreement before that date.

Despite section 10(h), paragraph 2(1)(a)(ii) of the First Schedule to the principal Act as in force immediately before the date of commencement of section 10(h) continues to apply to every collective sale agreement that has been signed by the first subsidiary proprietor or proprietor, or that subsidiary proprietor’s or proprietor’s duly appointed attorney, before that date.

Despite section 11(c), (d), (e), (g), (h) and (j) —
paragraph 2(1) and (1A) of the Second Schedule to the principal Act as in force immediately before the date of commencement of section 11(c) and (d) continues to apply to any requisition for a general meeting received by the secretary of the council of the management corporation before that date;
paragraph 2(2) and (2A) of the Second Schedule to the principal Act as in force immediately before the date of commencement of section 11(e) and (g) continues to apply to any requisition for a general meeting made before that date; and
paragraph 2(3) and (3A) of the Second Schedule to the principal Act as in force immediately before the date of commencement of section 11(h) and (j) continues to apply to any requisition for a general meeting made before that date.
(5)
Despite section 11(l) to (p), paragraph 2(8) of the Second Schedule to the principal Act as in force on or after the date of commencement of section 11(l) to (p) does not affect any relevant event that has happened before that date.
(6)
Paragraph 12 of the Third Schedule to the principal Act as in force on or after the date of commencement of section 12(e) applies to any collective sale committee that has not been dissolved before that date.
