Any person admitted as a candidate for the degree of Bachelor of Laws by the Singapore Management University shall be a qualified person if —
(a)
he has passed the final examination for that degree; and
(b)
he has attained a grade point average of at least 3.00 in the course of study leading to that degree.

In this rule, a reference to a person admitted as a candidate for the degree of Bachelor of Laws by the Singapore Management University includes a reference to a person admitted as a candidate for the degree of Doctor of Jurisprudence by the Singapore Management University.
