17B. Change of limited partnership name

(1)
An application by a limited partnership to change the name under which it was registered is to be lodged with the Registrar.

“Registrar” means the Registrar of Limited Partnerships appointed under section 9 and includes any Deputy Registrar or Assistant Registrar of Limited Partnerships appointed under that section;
(2)
On approving the application, the Registrar must issue to the limited partnership a notice of change of name stating the date of the change.
(3)
Any application for a change of a limited partnership name is subject to section 17A.
