If owners, etc., neglect to make alterations a Magistrate’s Court may order them to be done
If the person to whom any such pipes, works, mains, cables or apparatus belong, or under whose control they are, does not proceed forthwith, or as soon as conveniently may be, after the receipt of such a notice to cause them to be raised, sunk or altered in the manner required by the notice, a Magistrate’s Court may, upon the application of the Director-General, issue a mandatory order for the execution of the necessary work.[35
