Section 223
(1)
The Minister may approve any organisation for the purposes of surveying ships and issuing certificates under the load line provisions and any regulations made thereunder.
(2)
A certificate issued by any organisation approved by the Minister under subsection (1) shall have effect for the purposes of this Act as if it had been issued by the Minister.[243
