Amendment of section 27

Section 27 of the principal Act is hereby amended —

(a)

by renumbering the existing section as subsection (1); and

(b)

by inserting immediately thereafter the following subsection: —“(2) In subsection (1) of this section, “public officer” includes any special police officer or member of the Vigilante Corps exercising any power under section 22.”.
