Clause 7

by deleting the word “The” appearing in the first line of subsection (1) thereof and substituting therefor the expression “Except as provided in subsection (3) of this section, the”; and

by inserting immediately after subsection (2) thereof the following subsection: —“(3) If any person convicted of an offence under paragraph (b) of section 6 is again convicted of such an offence during any period when he is subject to supervision pursuant to an order of supervision made against him, he shall be punished with imprisonment for a term of not less than three years; and in this subsection —

“convicted of an offence” includes a conviction by a subordinate military court or the Military Court of Appeal constituted under the Singapore Armed Forces Act, 1972 (Act 7 of 1972); and

“order of supervision” means an order of supervision made under any regulations made under this Act.”.
