Clause 6

Section 28 of the principal Act is hereby amended by deleting subsections (1) and (2) thereof and substituting therefor the following: —“(1) Any officer of the Bureau, immigration officer or police officer not below the rank of sergeant may, if he reasonably suspects any person to have committed an offence under paragraph (b) of section 6, require that person to provide a specimen of his urine for a urine test.(2) A person who, without reasonable excuse, fails to provide a specimen of his urine within such time as may be required by any of the officers referred to in subsection (1) of this section shall be guilty of an offence.”.
