Vehicle parking certificate
Subregulation 1
Every person who is the registered owner of, or who has purchased, a heavy vehicle shall, subject to paragraphs (2) and (3), procure a designated parking space for the parking of the heavy vehicle.
Subregulation 2
Every person who is the registered owner of, or who has purchased, 2 or more trailers may procure one designated parking space for the parking of not more than 3 such trailers.
Subregulation 3
Notwithstanding paragraph (2), every person who is the registered owner of, or who has purchased, 2 or more 20-foot trailers may procure one designated space for the parking of not more than 6 such trailers.
Subregulation 4
Every person who is the registered owner of, or who has purchased, a heavy vehicle shall, upon compliance with paragraph (1), (2) or (3) as the case may be, apply for a vehicle parking certificate in respect of the heavy vehicle.
Subregulation 5
An application for a vehicle parking certificate by a registered owner, or by a person who has procured one designated space under paragraph (3) for the parking of not more than 6 20-foot trailers shall be accompanied by a declaration made by the registered owner or person in such form as the Authority may require.
Subregulation 6
Every vehicle parking certificate shall be in such form and shall state such particulars as may be required by the Superintendent.
Subregulation 7
This rule does not apply to the registered owner of, or a person who has purchased, a trailer, container trailer, low loader or flat-bed trailer, the maximum laden weight of which exceeds 5,000 kilograms for the period between 6 February 2026 and 5 February 2028 (both dates inclusive).
