74. Relief which may be claimed
Feedback & supportA person making an application under section 71 is entitled to claim in the application all or any of the following relief:
(a)
a declaration that the election is void;

“election” means an election for the purpose of electing the President;
(b)
a declaration that the return of the person elected was undue;
(c)
a declaration that any candidate was duly elected and ought to have been returned;

“candidate” means a person who is nominated as a candidate for election to the office of President;
(d)
where the seat is claimed for an unsuccessful candidate on the ground that he or she had a majority of lawful votes, a scrutiny.
