Section 75

Certificate of Election Judge as to validity of election

(1)

At the conclusion of the hearing of an application under section 71, the Election Judge must determine whether the President whose return or election is complained of, or any other and what person, was duly returned or elected, or whether the election was void, and must certify such determination to the Prime Minister.

(2)

Upon a certificate being given under subsection (1), the determination of the Election Judge under that subsection is final; and the return must be confirmed or altered, or the Prime Minister must, by notice in the Gazette, order the holding of an election within 6 months of the determination.
