20. Court for trial of offences
Feedback & supportAny offence under this Act may be tried by a District Court or by a Magistrate’s Court and that Court shall, notwithstanding the provisions of the Criminal Procedure Code [Cap. 68] and any other written law, have jurisdiction to impose the maximum penalty provided for by this Act.
