7. Person throwing rubbish, etc., into Singapore waters
Feedback & supportAny person who puts, throws, casts or deposits into Singapore waters, or causes to be put, thrown, cast or deposited thereinto, any oil, mixture containing oil, refuse, garbage, waste matter, carcase, substance of a dangerous or obnoxious nature, or trade effluent, shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $10,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 2 years or to both.

“Singapore waters” means the following waters:(a)the whole of the sea within the seaward limits of the territorial waters of Singapore; and(b)all other waters (including inland waters) which are within these limits and are subject to the ebb and flow of the ordinary tides;
