Constitution of Appeals Board

Section 24
(1)
There must be an Appeals Board consisting of a chairperson and 4 other members whom the Minister may appoint.
(2)
The Minister must appoint a secretary to the Appeals Board.
(3)
Every member of the Appeals Board, unless the Minister otherwise directs, holds office for 3 years and is eligible for re‑appointment.
(4)
The Minister may, at any time, revoke the appointment of any member of the Appeals Board.
(5)
A member of the Appeals Board may resign his or her office by written notice to the Minister.
(6)
Members of the Appeals Board may receive such remuneration and such travelling and subsistence allowances as the Minister may determine.[51
