Register of employees

Subregulation 1

A licensee shall at all times maintain an up-to-date register of all persons employed by him to assist him in the work of a private investigator or as a security guard.

The register shall contain the following personal particulars of each person employed by the licensee to assist him in the work of a private investigator or as a security guard:

(a)

name in English and, if applicable, in Chinese characters;

(b)

NRIC Number (with official reference), where the person is a citizen or permanent resident of Singapore;

(c)

Foreign Identification Number, where the person is a foreigner;

(d)

race;

(e)

sex;

(f)

date of birth;

(g)

citizenship;

(h)

home address;

(i)

date of commencement of employment;

(j)

date of cessation of employment, where the person has ceased to be employed by the licensee; and

(k)

serial number of identification paper issued to the person by the licensee under section 15 of the Act.

The register may be kept in the form of an electronic record.
