Paragraph 6(1) is deemed to have come into operation on 31 December 2021.

in sub‑paragraph (a), delete “or” at the end;

in sub‑paragraph (b), replace “6 p.m.” with “5 p.m.”;

in sub‑paragraph (b), replace the full‑stop at the end with “; or”; and

after sub‑paragraph (b), insert —“(c)the period starting at 10 a.m. and ending before 2 p.m. on any Saturday, Sunday or public holiday, or another period substituted on variation under paragraph 13.”.

in sub‑paragraph (2), replace sub-paragraph (a) with —“(a)$8 if the hiring of the taxi begins on any day within the period starting at 5 p.m. and ending before midnight the same day; or”;

in sub‑paragraph (2)(b), replace “$3” with “$6”;

in sub‑paragraph (3), replace sub‑paragraph (a) with —“(a)$5 if the hiring of the taxi begins on any day within the period starting at 7 a.m. and ending before 5 p.m. the same day; or”; and

after sub‑paragraph (7), insert —“(8) Subject to paragraph 19, a location surcharge of $5 is (if charged) payable for every journey, the hiring of which begins on any day at a public taxi stand at Mandai Wildlife Reserve, within the period starting at 1 p.m. and ending before midnight the same day.”.

in sub‑paragraph (a), replace “or (5) or (6)” with “, (5), (6) or (8)”; and

in sub‑paragraph (b), replace “or (5)” with “, (5) or (8)”.
