Regulations
(1)
The Minister may make regulations necessary or convenient to be prescribed for carrying out or giving effect to this Act.
(2)
The regulations may —
(a)
prescribe the offences under this Act that may be compounded;
(b)
provide that any contravention of any provision of the regulations shall be an offence punishable with a fine not exceeding $5,000 or with imprisonment for a term not exceeding 3 years or with both; and
(c)
provide for such transitional, saving and other consequential, incidental and supplemental provisions as the Minister considers necessary or expedient.
(3)
All regulations made under this section are to be presented to Parliament as soon as possible after publication in the Gazette.
