Clause 1
Short title and commencement
This Act may be cited as the Revised Editions of the Laws (Annual Supplements) (Amendment) Act, 1971, and shall come into operation on such date as the President may, by notification in the Gazette, appoint.

Clause 2
Amendment of section 5
Section 5 of the Revised Editions of the Laws (Annual Supplements) Act is hereby amended by inserting immediately after subsection (2) thereof the following new subsection: —“(3) Notwithstanding the provisions of paragraph (a) of subsection (1) of this section, the annual supplement to be printed in 1971 under this Act shall contain only those Acts which were passed by Parliament in 1970 but were not included in the Revised Edition of Acts, 1970.”.
