Duty of substantial shareholder to notify corporation of interests
(1)
A person who is or (if the person has ceased to be one) had been a substantial shareholder in a corporation must give written notice to the corporation of particulars of the voting shares in the corporation in which the person has or had an interest or interests and the nature and extent of that interest or those interests.
(2)
A notice under subsection (1) —
must be in such form and must contain such information as the Authority may prescribe;
must be given within 2 business days after the person becomes aware that the person is or (if the person has ceased to be one) had been a substantial shareholder; and
must be given even though the person has ceased to be a substantial shareholder before the expiration of the period referred to in paragraph (b).
