Regulation 42

Aggravated detention offences

Any detainee or military prisoner who commits any of the following offences shall be guilty of an aggravated detention offence:

(a)

mutiny;

(b)

escape or attempt to escape;

(c)

inflicting injuries on himself;

(d)

assault, behaving with contempt, using vulgarities, threatening or striking a superior or a military policeman;

(e)

smuggling or possession of prohibited items, medication, controlled drugs or weapons;

(f)

vandalising or damaging barrack properties;

(g)

repeated commission of minor offences; and

(h)

abetting the commission of any aggravated detention offence.
