4. Constitution of Institute

(1)
The Institute shall consist of the following members all of whom shall be appointed by the Minister on such terms as he may determine:

“Institute” means the Singapore Institute of Standards and Industrial Research established under section 3;
(a)
a Chairman who shall be a full-time or part-time officer of the Institute; and
(b)
not less than 6 and not more than 10 other members.
(2)
The First Schedule shall apply to the Institute, its members and proceedings.
