Regulation 6

holds a licence under Part 4 of the Guns, Explosives and Weapons Control Act 2021 that authorises the holder of the licence to possess (but not manufacture or repair) a defined weapon; and

carries on a business in a weapon‑based sports and recreational centre by providing —

grounds for the use by customers to engage in defined weapon‑based recreational activity within the defined weapon‑based sports and recreational centre; and

any defined weapon to customers for hire to engage in a defined weapon‑based recreational activity within that defined weapon‑based sports and recreational centre,is exempt from the requirement in section 4 of the Act in respect of carrying on that business, subject to the defined weapon‑based sports and recreational centre satisfying both the entertainment ban and the signage requirement at all times when it is open for that business.
