14. Applicants
Feedback & supportThe proper authority may, in special cases, permit any person below 18 years of age but not below 16 years and 6 months of age to apply to be enlisted in regular service.
Consent to the application must be given in writing by the parent or guardian of that person.
A person who is enlisted under paragraph (1) must not be permitted to take a direct part in hostilities until he has attained 18 years of age.
Subregulation 1
