Regulation 35

Informing employers

Subregulation 1

A person must, unless the proper authority otherwise directs, as soon as possible inform his employer that —

(a)

he is ordered to report for enlistment or service during his working hours; and

(b)

the time of reporting for enlistment or service is such as to involve his leaving during working hours in order to comply in time with the order to report for enlistment or service.

Subregulation 2

Nothing in paragraph (1) derogates from the liability of a person to report for enlistment or service under the Act.
