Digital signatures to be used for electronic transmission by competent authority

An electronic record to be transmitted through the relevant electronic service to the subscriber of a certificate by the competent authority under these Rules shall be signed with a digital signature.
Subregulation 2
Such digital signature shall be capable of being verified by reference to the public key listed in the certificate issued to the competent authority and the electronic record signed with such digital signature shall be transmitted to the subscriber’s information system during the operational period of the certificate.
