Revoke the Telecommunications (Internal Wiring) Regulations 2005 (G.N. No. S 479/2005).
Subregulation 2
Despite regulation 3(4) —
(a)
if the Authority is satisfied that an individual has adequate practical experience in carrying out wiring work in relation to optical fibre cable (including practical experience before 1 July 2024), the Authority may on or after that date register the individual as a licensed installer to carry out wiring work in relation to that type of wiring; and
(b)
an individual registered by the Authority under sub‑paragraph (a) is deemed to have been granted, on the date of the registration, a telecommunication wiring installer class licence under regulation 3(4).
