Dissolution of association
Subregulation 1
The Commissioner may, by notice in Force Orders, dissolve an association if —
the association has contravened these Regulations or its own rules;
in his opinion, the association does not represent the class of police officers, special police officers or non-police personnel performing duties in the Police Force for which it was established; or
in his opinion, the association is acting or being used in any manner prejudicial to the interests, good order or discipline of the Police Force.
Subregulation 2
Where the Commissioner has dissolved an association under paragraph (1), any person who, on the date of the dissolution, was an office-bearer of that association, shall, for a period of 2 years starting from that date, be disqualified, except with the written permission of the Commissioner, from being elected as an office-bearer of any association or to act as such an office-bearer.
