11. Forfeiture of award
Feedback & supportThe Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Home Affairs may forfeit any Medal, Bar or Bar (Enhanced) awarded to any person under these Rules if the person —
is dismissed or dishonourably discharged from any form of service mentioned in rule 2(2) in any of the forces, bodies or organisations specified in rule 2(1);
is convicted of any criminal offence; or
is guilty of misconduct or disloyalty to Singapore.
Any Medal, Bar or Bar (Enhanced) forfeited may be restored by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Home Affairs at his discretion.
A notice of the forfeiture or restoration of any Medal, Bar or Bar (Enhanced) shall be published in the Gazette.
Subregulation 1
The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Home Affairs may forfeit any Medal, Bar or Bar (Enhanced) awarded to any person under these Rules if the person —
is dismissed or dishonourably discharged from any form of service mentioned in rule 2(2) in any of the forces, bodies or organisations specified in rule 2(1);
is convicted of any criminal offence; or
is guilty of misconduct or disloyalty to Singapore.
Subregulation 2
Any Medal, Bar or Bar (Enhanced) forfeited may be restored by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Home Affairs at his discretion.
Subregulation 3
A notice of the forfeiture or restoration of any Medal, Bar or Bar (Enhanced) shall be published in the Gazette.
